Fun July

I have had such an amazing July so far.  Clayton and I got to go with the Alders to see the new Rocky Shores exhibit at the Hogle zoo and I have to say that I was really impressed with how they setup everything.  Clayton especially loved the sea lion, we couldn't peel him away from the glass.
The 4th was really relaxing and rememberable.  We took Clayton to the splash pad in Cottonwood Heights and we all got in there with him.  I do have to admit that the water was a tad bit cold.  Then we met up with Bekah and Robert to go to Sizzler with my in-laws for lunch, which I did good and did not stuff my face beyond all get up.  Chris on the other hand, you already know that he ate so much that he didn't eat again for the rest of the day.  After lunch we did some sparklers and pop-its at my in-laws house, since fireworks were banned in our area.  Now that Clayton is a little bit older he enjoyed it a lot more, this is his second fourth..too cute.

One of my coworkers got married on the 7th, it was Crystal and Gabe, and a bunch of us went right after work to her reception and ceremony at the Gallivan Center.  It was super fancy, outside, catered, dj, nice fancy meal with salmon and beef tenderloin, and there was even a open bar.  Which I do have to say, that was the most fancy wedding I have ever been to.  We had to much fun dancing and eating and even Clayton enjoyed himself in the festivities.  Here is a cute picture of him drinking a virgin strawberry daiquiri.
This month has already gone by so fast, can't believe we are already half way through it.  Chris and I are busy planning our trip to Vegas in a couple of weeks to visit our dear friends Brady and Amy.
